Looking back on the 2007 session of the Nevada State Legislature we can point to many victories for working families in Nevada. These gains did not just happen, in fact, most of them involved long hard fought battles which were waged by the men and women of organized labor.
The job of a lobbyist is a difficult one to say the least. You spend all day and many times half the night working to convince others to support our positions. You spend months away from your family and work those long hours with no guarantees.
In the end, win or lose, we owe a great debt of gratitude to our labor lobbyists for all of their great work.
